Alberta has released a draft of the new Rules of Court which are expected to go into effect on November 1, 2010. The purpose of the revision to the Rules is “...to maximize the Rules' clarity, usability and effectiveness and to contribute to a fair, accessible, timely and cost effective civil justice system.”
